Mr. Purple, on Manhattan's Lower East Side, is set to feel like an artist's loft, capturing the eclectic spirit of this storied neighborhood. We developed a brand identity and the persona of a fictional artist, Mr. Purple, to reflect the energy of the space and bring his vibrant spirit to life. We built a palette of collage elements, using overlapping shapes that hint at the color purple and are layered in with hand-drawn line work and photographs. We applied the branding to printed collateral, neon signage, and a website.
