Agapo is a family business that brings the best of India to the world of fashion. For the past 30 years they have worked with designers and retailers to turn their ideas into products by providing design guidance, production and distribution services.
I worked with Agapo to refresh their brand identity and create a new website to market their services. We were enthralled by the beauty that goes into Agapo’s textile production, all captured by photographer Scott Witt who travelled to India to document the place, process, and people that bring the products to life.
The site is a sleek but inviting design that showcases Agapo’s myriad of services. Custom icons reflect the vernacular of a clothing label but are uniquely tied to these themes of Agapo’s business. A strong logo and brand mark feel like they could appear on the doorway on an old Atelier. Clean animated elements and a palette of pastelles add a subtle light-hearted feeling to the design. Overall though, the site acts as a frame for Scott’s photos of Agapo’s manufacturing and operations processes, with the goal of helping visitors to better understand how Agapo could serve their business from production through distribution.
